I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Environmental Chemistry. My passion lies in a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to electroplating and surface finishing chemistry. I guide learners through the principles of electrochemical deposition, showing how these processes influence material properties and serve a wide range of industrial applications. In my lessons, we examine the role of electrode kinetics and how bath composition directly impacts the quality and performance of coatings.
We also explore coatings from both an aesthetic and a protective perspective, connecting theory with practical, real-world examples. I enjoy bridging chemistry with materials engineering, manufacturing processes, and applied chemistry, making the subject relevant for future innovators. Many of my students are eager to understand the link between scientific principles and the creation of functional, high-performance materials.
