I'm a professional chess player and experienced online coach with a strong background in competitive play and years of teaching experience. Having competed in numerous tournaments, I bring a deep understanding of chess strategies, tactics, and the mental aspects of the game to every lesson. Find out more about Artur

  • When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

I developed an interest in chess at a young age. What began as a casual game quickly turned into a deep fascination with strategy, critical thinking, and the psychology behind each move. Over time, my love for the game grew into a commitment to mastering it and sharing it with others.
  • Which artists or works inspire you the most?

I was lucky to have a mentor early in my chess journey who didn’t just teach me how to play but how to think. He emphasized discipline, sportsmanship, and reflection after each game. His patience and insight showed me the impact a good teacher can have, and he continues to inspire the way I teach today.
  • What are the specific qualities or skills required to succeed in this area?

Success in chess requires consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from every experience win or lose. Patience, focus, and the ability to adapt are also essential. Chess rewards those who think ahead, stay disciplined, and maintain a positive mindset even in challenging moments.
  • What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

Stay curious and consistent. Progress often comes in small steps, and every mistake is an opportunity to learn. Whether in chess or any creative pursuit, the key is to stay engaged, reflect on your experiences, and never be afraid to challenge yourself.
  • How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

Chess is more than a game. It’s a discipline that sharpens the mind, teaches patience, and builds resilience. It gives me a sense of clarity and purpose, and I find great joy in helping others experience that same excitement and satisfaction of growth through the game.
  • What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

I’m proud of having developed a teaching approach that helps students of all ages and levels connect with the game in a meaningful way. Breaking down complex ideas into simple, engaging lessons and seeing my students grow in confidence and skill is incredibly rewarding.
  • Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

Absolutely. Every student brings something unique to the table, and I’ve often been amazed by how quickly some grasp concepts once they find their rhythm. Seeing that spark when a student suddenly understands a new strategy or wins their first game using a learned concept is always inspiring.
  • Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

My secret is connection. I take time to understand each student’s goals, personality, and learning style, then adapt my lessons accordingly. Whether someone is just starting or aiming for tournament success, I focus on personalized coaching, encouragement, and building the mindset needed for consistent growth.
