About William
William Aramil is the owner and co-founder of Dynamic Chess. dynamicchess.org Coached dozens of individual state champs. Trainer of Whitney Young High School, 2011 and 2013 IL HS State Champs. Helped build the most dominant high school state championship team in Illinois High School history. Whitney Young has won 7 state titles and tied for one national championship since 2011. Peak USCF Rating was 2347 in slow chess and 2374 in Blitz! 2002 and 2003 IL High School Denker State Champion 2003 National Champion (Denker Tournament of High School Champions) 2004 National Collegiate Champion Author of the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Chess Openings Commentator at 2018 US Open and National K-12 Championships Commentator of multiple online scholastic national events Drew (tied) against Alexander Onischuk, former #40 player in the world and 2006 US Champion
