About Thibault
I offer chess lessons to advanced players under 1600 ELO and beginners. As a club player, I have participated in many regional and national tournaments. I competed in the Belgian, Blitz, Rapids and Long Championships in the youth and adult categories. I started tournaments at 10 years old with JEF (Jeunesse Echiquéenne Francophone), and won 10 times in the category -12 years old, as well as interschool tournaments as a first table.

My course will be structured according to the needs of the students and their level. I will start with the openings which are, in my opinion, crucial because they determine the course of the game. Then I will see the finals (my specialty), it is the conclusion of a game. It is the knowledge of the final that often determines the outcome of the game, so it is very important to know it well. Finally, I will analyze the middle of the game which is the moment that requires the most concentration and strategy. I think that learning it is the least important (not necessarily useless) because learning the beginning and the end of the game already trains us a lot. I can also teach in English.
