About Giovanni
I'm currently a student at the University of Canberra, with years of experience in chess. I prioritize clarity, adaptability, and providing a supportive learning atmosphere where students are able to ask questions that will further develop them. Whether you're a young beginner or an intermediate player who is looking to refine their playstyle, there is always something to gain in these lessons. My lessons are structured and flexible, typically around an hour (which can vary). Lessons combine chess theory, such as opening principles and endgame strategies. This is followed up by game reviews and custom puzzles designed on the level of skill. Lessons are perfect for beginners to intermediate players, with ages ranging from 8 and up. I've played chess since I was 14 and have participated in previous chess tournaments back in high school (year 6/7). Furthermore, I continuously practice daily to maintain my knowledge of the game.
