About Yanira

I'm a Woman Chess Grandmaster with more than twenty years of experience as a professional player and coach. Chess has been a central part of her life since childhood. My name is Yanira and I am a Chess Grandmaster with more than twenty years of experience as a professional player and coach. Chess has been part of my life since childhood, and over the years it has taught me discipline, patience, and the importance of clear strategic thinking.

I have worked with students of different ages and levels, from beginners discovering the game to competitive players who want to improve their results. My goal as a tutor is to help students understand chess deeply, not just memorize moves, so they can make better decisions during their games.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and guiding students step by step as they develop confidence, stronger calculation skills, and a better strategic understanding of the game.

About the lesson
