About TUNG

I am a university graduate from Malaysia, a multicultural and multilingual country, with experience teaching Chinese and English in Thailand. I am passionate about helping students learn languages in a clear, practical, and enjoyable way. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I focus on building confidence in speaking, while also strengthening reading, listening, and writing skills. With my international teaching experience and multicultural background, I understand different learning styles and aim to create a comfortable environment where students can progress steadily and effectively.

About the lesson

Living in a multicultural and multilingual environment in Malaysia, where Chinese, English, and Malay are commonly spoken, has shaped my understanding of how people learn languages differently. This background allows me to teach Chinese in a practical, friendly, and engaging way that adapts to each student’s needs.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated. I believe language learning should be interactive, enjoyable, and directly connected to real-life situations, rather than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar. Every lesson is tailored according to the student’s level, goals, and learning pace to ensure steady and effective progress.

In a typical lesson, I begin with simple conversation practice to build speaking confidence and improve pronunciation. I then introduce new vocabulary, sentence structures, and useful expressions through everyday topics such as travel, food, hobbies, work, and culture. Depending on the student’s needs, I also include reading, listening, and writing practice. Each lesson ends with a short review and additional practice materials to reinforce learning.

What sets my teaching apart is my multicultural background, international teaching experience, and patient, supportive teaching style. I understand the challenges of learning Chinese, especially for beginners, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow naturally in confidence.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, children, adults, travelers, and anyone who wants to learn Chinese for daily communication, study, work, or personal interest.
