About Hillary
To see my student experience that click, or the "aha" moment gives me fulfilment. I derive joy seeing that I am able to break down problems that may seem complex to very simple understandable concepts using friendly approaches to achieve the same goal of understanding. I use a play-based approach to teach, making learning fun and engaging. As a multidisciplinary person, I have experience in arts, photography, music which gives me the flexibility to add creativity to learning.

I use personal-centred techniques suitable and tailored to the individual learning need and also combining clear explanations with real-world applications. I ensure that I get regular feedback from students, to ensure assimilation and understanding. Lessons are typically 60min. I have a background in Civil Engineering which forms my basis of solving mathematics and physics problems. I also have an MSc degree in Project Management (First-class), with experience teaching various ages, especially secondary-level students and adult learners. I am currently employed as a teaching assistant in North London.
