About Alice
I hold a degree in Archaeology and Ancient History from Durham University and a PGCE in Classics with QTS from Buckingham University. I have experience teaching in a range of schools with both boys and girls, and I bring this classroom knowledge into my one-to-one lessons. I am passionate about the ancient world and about helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. My approach combines subject expertise with patience, encouragement and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

My lessons are friendly, structured and designed to build confidence and real progress. I focus on helping students understand key concepts clearly and develop strong exam skills through explanation, discussion and practice. Each session is tailored to suit the individual learner, whether the goal is to improve grades, strengthen essay writing or rediscover enjoyment in a subject. I make sure lessons are engaging and supportive, encouraging curiosity as well as academic success.
