About Gary
Standing in a studio while a student hits their first high note without tension remains the best part of this job. I have taught 180 students across the globe, guiding them through vocal range extension and intricate genre styling. My background includes a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music.
I emphasize microphone technique and stage fear management to ensure you look and feel comfortable under lights. Diction, articulation, and advanced rhythm training form the backbone of my technical approach.
Many of my students are working professionals or teens prepping for high-stakes exams. I am a very practical person. Let me know when you are ready to start.

Thinking about how to link your voice to the guitar, I usually encourage students to practice both skills simultaneously. My 13 years of experience have shown that isolating vocals often leads to stiff performances.
We spend time on warm up exercises that directly translate to your song choice. Whether we are focusing on pitch control or sight singing, the goal remains the same.
