About Sofia
I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of Nevada, Reno and have 5 years of online teaching experience, mainly with beginners and weak students. Parents say their child becomes confident and curious after my lessons. I’m patient, encouraging, and explain until understanding feels comfortable.

Many students feel coding is “too hard.” I completely change that mindset. We start from the very beginning — what code is and how computers think.
Python is my first choice because it’s beginner-friendly. I explain every line slowly. Mistakes are normal and welcomed. JavaScript and Java are introduced only after confidence grows. SQL is taught using very simple examples. MATLAB is explained visually. For interested students, I introduce very basic video game programming to make learning fun.
There is no pressure to be fast. Progress matters more than speed.
