About Mara

I am a patient, experienced, and self-employed digital educator dedicated to teaching kids and teenagers the skills of tomorrow. My teaching philosophy is entirely project-based and student-centric: I believe children learn best when they are actively creating and having fun.

I adapt my pace to each individual student's needs, ensuring they never feel overwhelmed, but always feel challenged and inspired. Whether your child is an absolute beginner or already has some tech experience, I will guide them step-by-step on their coding journey.

Hello! I am a professional coding and robotics instructor specializing in making technology fun, accessible, and engaging for children. In my classes, we don't just play games—we use them as powerful educational tools to master real-world programming concepts.

By leveraging the games they already love, your child will transition from passive players to active creators and developers.

What We Do:
Minecraft Education (with Microsoft MakeCode): Using a brilliant block-based and JavaScript/Python editor, students learn to mod their game, automate massive builds, and command their world using code.

Roblox Studio: Moving beyond just playing, students dive into actual game development. They will learn to design 3D worlds and use Lua scripting to program interactive game mechanics, obstacles, and simulators.

What Your Child Will Learn:
Core Coding Concepts: Loops, variables, conditionals (if/then logic), and 3D coordinates.

Problem-Solving & Logic: How to break down complex tasks, think algorithmically, and debug errors.

Digital Design & Creativity: Building custom mini-games, automated structures, and interactive user experiences.

Why This Approach Works:
Both platforms offer the perfect learning curve. Minecraft Education allows kids to start with intuitive drag-and-drop blocks before seamlessly transitioning to Python or JavaScript. Roblox Studio then takes them to the next level, introducing them to professional game design engines and text-based coding. They see the results of their code instantly in 3D worlds they adore!
