About Fanrong
My master's degree is in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. My Bachelor's is in Chinese Language and Literature. I have both China and U.S. teaching certificates. I have taught Mandarin from elementary school to college in the U.S. for 13 years. I taught in Thailand and China before as well. I am an invited speaker at national and state professional language conferences to train other teachers.

I use authentic settings and material to create a real-world situation for students to have an immersion language learning experience. I use the integrated performance method to build up students' three communication skills (Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational) to improve the students' communicating ability in the real world. Not just memorize the characters, but explain the logic of creating Chinese characters. My lesson is FUN and effective.
