I am new to tutoring, but have been a college teaching and laboratory assistant for a total of 3 semesters, working with students both with and without previous biological knowledge. In total, I have worked with over a hundred students, including lab help but also meeting with students or small groups for assistance with homework and exam prep.

I recently graduated from Lewis & Clark College cum laude with departmental honors in biology. I love working with students to help them understand basic and complex biological concepts. I enjoy approaching instruction by ensuring a strong base of knowledge, and then building more complex topics to construct a deep and broad understanding of the concept.
