About Piya
As someone with many years of experience as both a student and a tutor, I understand the importance of asking questions and listening in education. It is important to recognize that people are unique and therefore learning is unique. By understanding my student's individual study habits, I have been able to lead them to success. Apart from my students, I have also found personal success through my methods while studying for standardized exams such as APs, SATs, subject SATs, and the MCAT.

Whether the student is at an elementary, high school, or collegiate learning level, my teaching method ensures that the student is comfortable with the concept. I start off by asking if the student had any experience/understanding of a concept and proceed to explain the concept in full. Then, I do a sample problem with the student. After that, I let the student do a few problems on their own to verify that they understand the concept. If I feel that they are good at the basics, I introduce them to harder problems/concepts that build on the basics. If not, I make sure to do more sample problems with the student.
