About Keshav
I have been giving private lessons for over 4 years to numerous students in mathematics/science fields ever since high school, usually in conjunction with a course for homework support or explanation of difficult topics. Many of my students achieve a B or A grade in their classes, with my experience in AP Statistics, Calc BC, and several math college subjects.

As a tutor, I use several approaches when teaching students. I believe in a very practical, no-hand-holding approach, while also deemphasizing the "how" and focus on the "why." Why do we need to memorize this formula? Why do we go with this approach instead of something simpler? I also focus on concepts instead of hard rote to memorize ideas, formulae, and situations.

$20/hr is a base rate that can be lowered or increased based on several factors. My first free lesson will be a get-to-know-you session as well as assess your level of work and assess a price commensurate with that work.
