About Mark
I have been teaching at the university level since 1995. I have taught everything from microbiology to a course dedicated to marine turtle conservation. My research has focused primarily on marine organisms but certainly isn't limited to that. I love to help students learn skills and habits that allow them to become successful lifelong learners.

I have tutored biology and associated subjects for everyone from middle school to graduate school. I will meet you where you are, no judgment, and give you the tools to get you where you want to go. I like to go over note-taking, study skills, review tests to address test-taking skills, and time management as part of an overall plan to help you get the best grade possible. Of course, this may not be appropriate for every situation and we can certainly adjust based on your situation.
I am available almost all hours of the day over the summer, and then most evenings the rest of the year. So, scheduling is easy and flexible.
