About Mariame
Since I was young, I have always had a strong passion for mathematics. In high school, I participated in math competitions and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Throughout my academic journey, I have enjoyed supporting classmates and explaining challenging concepts in ways that make them easier to understand. Now, as a college student, I continue to carry that same enthusiasm for mathematics and teaching. I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

As a teacher, it is very important to me that my students feel comfortable asking as many questions as they need. Building trust is one of the most important parts of the learning process. Before starting a lesson, I like to ask students what they are struggling with so I can better understand their needs. I then explain the concept clearly, provide examples, and guide them through the material. Afterward, I give them the opportunity to apply what they have learned independently. This allows me to assess their understanding and identify any areas that may need further clarification. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, engaged, and comfortable making mistakes as they learn.
