• What motivates you to teach & why?

  The motivation is to share my knowledge to others who are in need of that and are not able to get it due to any reasons. I have been in situations where I didn't have good teacher to teach in some of of my important years of education and I know how it affected me as a student and I don't want someone else to suffer the same way I did and I want to share my knowledge and help other students to the best possible way.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  While being a student I had immense interest in corporate laws, business studies and accounting. I think that commerce is such an interesting subject as a whole as one can relate to real life situations unlike subject like science.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I think my role model is my math teacher. She was my 10th math teacher and she made sure that all the students understand the concept and at end of my 10th, mathematics became my favourite subject. I have never come across a teacher like her yet. She worked so hard to make sure we score good marks.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  Even though I live in a city like Bangalore, I could not find one good classes for company secretary course and had to study myself and take help from online classes to clear the subjects. That was my biggest obstacle. To self study, have that kind of discipline and clear doubts only with help on internet. I think that is the reason why I want to teach because I don't want the same thing to become someone else's biggest obstacle.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  The dedication and perseverance to understand and practice that subject till you become an expert in that subject.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  I would say "Think of 10 years later, will you regret that you gave up so easily ?". If you do then don't give up. Giving up is easy but to be patient and work double hard is difficult. Choosing difficult path is rare but only such rare things gives one success in life.

• How does someone become a Super Prof?

  A super prof is someone who understands what a student wants and deliver that in best possible way. To be teacher and a friend to the student is a Super Prof. Someone who can motivate the students to give their best is also a Super Prof.
