About Nina
As a chess tutor with over 9 years of experience, I’ve helped countless students grow in skill and confidence. My background includes leading group classes, coaching youth teams, and preparing players for tournaments. I believe chess learning is at its best when students work together and support one another. My lessons are full of puzzles, strategy discussions, and shared game reviews. I encourage players to learn from both successes and mistakes, making each experience valuable. I guide students in mastering key areas like openings, middle-game plans, and strong endgames. Group lessons also focus on communication and teamwork, skills that translate beyond the chessboard. Many of my students have flourished in both individual competitions and collaborative events. I create a positive environment where challenges are embraced, not feared. I also emphasize learning how to adapt, since no two opponents are the same. Mistakes are welcomed as tools for growth. For Exam Takers, I create customized plans to meet their exact needs. For Newcomers, I explain each idea with patience and simplicity. Lessons are never just about memorization, but about true understanding. I also teach emotional control and focus, vital skills for long games. Progress is measured step by step so improvement is visible. Every learner gains both technical ability and confidence. My goal is to make chess a journey of discovery and success.
