About Evelyn

My interest in computer programming began when I first explored how software applications are created and how computers follow instructions written in programming languages. I was fascinated by the idea that simple commands could be combined to build powerful digital systems. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science followed by a Master’s in Computer Science.

Over the past 10 years, I have taught programming to students who are learning coding for academic studies, professional development, and personal projects. Through this experience I discovered that many beginners feel overwhelmed when they first start learning programming. Because of this, I focus on explaining concepts clearly and guiding students through each step of the coding process.

My teaching style encourages experimentation, logical thinking, and consistent practice. I guide learners through exercises that gradually increase in difficulty so they can build strong programming foundations and develop confidence in writing their own programs.

About the lesson

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand how computer programs are designed and how coding can be used to solve practical problems. Instead of focusing only on memorizing programming syntax, I guide learners to understand the logical thinking that supports software development. Students learn how algorithms are created, how instructions are processed by computers, and how different programming structures work together in a program.

Lessons are carefully planned according to the learner’s level of experience. Beginners start with fundamental topics such as variables, data types, loops, and conditional statements. Intermediate learners practice writing structured programs using functions, arrays, and simple data structures. Advanced students work on algorithm design, debugging strategies, and project-based exercises that help them strengthen their coding skills and understand real programming challenges.

Programming becomes much more interesting when students realize that they can create useful tools and applications through code. My goal is to help learners develop strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. As their knowledge improves, they begin to approach programming tasks with creativity and confidence.
