About Fiona
Hello there!! I am a 28 year old university grad all the way from Canada (and originally the UK!) living permanently in Melbourne. I used to tutor my friends for fun while in University (studying first science, then Political Science and Law with English literature), and myself had a French tutor growing up in French Quebec. I remember looking so forward to her visits and finding learning fun! I would love to do the same for you.
I have University degrees up to a bachelor's level, and a college diploma in Pure and Applied Science - so I can certainly help you with your high school and early-undergrad needs!

LEARN HOW TO CRUSH MATH!
I have endured a whole 24 college and 49 university classes in my time, and as such know the difference between good teaching and bad...I've experienced it all! I know what works for the average student, but can certainly tailor it if need-be to get required results. Everyone is different, everyone learns differently, but that doesn't mean it cannot work :) with the right approach, everyone can do well!
The thing about math is this: it requires practice, practice, and more practice. It's a LITTLE sad, but true. Equally as important is your ability to grasp all concepts as each chapter moves forward: math is cumulative! It never stops building upon itself. That's the good thing - a struggle with maths is often down to random gaps in understanding rather than just general inability to comprehend the subject matter. By breaking the course down to the basics, we can identify your weaknesses and where these gaps in understanding are. You'll be killing workbook problems in no time!
