About Cara
Hello!
My name is Cara and I am hopefully your next tutor
I am currently a postgraduate student in biomedical engineering, but my undergrad is in Philosophy. Currently being a student myself makes me a very empathetic teacher; I know your struggle as it is my struggle too! After having initial difficulties with university philosophy, I understand the pain of struggling with philosophy and I use this to my advantage in my lessons.
I studied Intermediate 2 (Nat 5) Philosophy and also Higher Philosophy - achieving an A(1) in both exams, scoring 100% and 90% in the exams respectively. I understand what exactly needs to be done to do well in philosophy examinations which is perhaps the thing most students struggle most with.
I am a fun, bubbly person with a passion for my subjects, but, most importantly with a passion for helping others!

I base my classes on exam material. I think for most people the hardest part about exams is understanding how to answer the question being asked, rather than a lack of understanding the content. However, I know every student is different and thus I make sure to personalise my approach to meet each individual student's needs.
