About Denise

I have worked with students at every level and have a lot of patience when walking people through concepts. I would never judge someone for struggling with a lesson and I am happy to explain things as many times as needed to help them achieve a strong understanding. I truly believe that personalized attention is the best way to help students learn and feel less overwhelmed by school.

About the lesson

My lessons consist of thorough explanations while asking questions to ensure understanding, followed by practice examples. I have a lot of experience working with struggling students and rewording explanations to make sure that students fully understand the concepts that I am teaching. I am happy to work with any age on math concepts from elementary to AP Calculus level.
