About Carter
Prior to transferring to The University of California, Santa Barbara, I tutored students taking accounting classes at my community college. As someone that finds learning on my own to be tedious and uninspiring, I derive lots of satisfaction from providing an experienced mind for students to bounce ideas off of. I have personally found hiring tutors to drastically cut my learning curve. This is the reason that even now I still seek out tutors and regularly attend my professor's office hours.

I believe mathematics can be easier to learn and even fun when you apply real-world scenarios to the concepts you are attempting to gain mastery of. My teaching style very much involves breaking down abstract concepts into logical, real-world elements that are easy to understand.
