About Jessica
Even before I became a teacher, I was a tutor since high school. I tutored AP Chemistry, and went on to tutor physics and chemistry in college and onwards. I’ve been told that I’m patient and kind, and I’ll never get frustrated with you for not understanding something. Instead, I’ll give you time to think, and maybe propose a different way to think about the question at hand.

I like to start with the big picture, then build from the ground up. I will pull videos that are useful at times to visually show phenomena, and will annotate and verbally explain problems as we go, stopping when you have a question. I find this method helps build the foundation you need to solve more complicated problems in the future, regardless of if you’ve seen that specific question before.
