About Mariam
Hi! My name is Mariam. I’m a friendly and approachable medical student at Cardiff University, offering tutoring for GCSE students.
Having achieved all A*s at GCSE, I understand the challenges that come with preparing for exams and know how important it is to have someone who can make difficult topics feel more manageable.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I can adapt lessons to each student’s needs, whether that means going over challenging topics, working through exam questions, improving exam technique, or simply providing extra support alongside school.
I’m passionate about helping students reach their potential and would love to help you feel more confident and prepared for your GCSEs!

My teaching technique will be going through all content for the course with my student alongside their school studies, finishing each chapter with a revision task that will be used closer to exams, i.e. flashcards.
I am an experienced tutor and have previously tutored GCSE students who achieved very good results.
These lessons are only for WJEC GCSE students, I do not do any other exam board or A level tutoring.
