About Hans
As an accomplished MYP Level 7 student at an international IB school, I take pride in my academic achievements and commitment to education. Receiving consistent 7s has provided me strong subject knowledge, including literature analysis. I have experience tutoring younger peers, mutuals, and other students, helping them strengthen their skills. Through one-on-one tutoring sessions, I aim to inspire confidence and pass on valuable skills cultivated from excelling within the IB framework. Students can feel reassured knowing their lessons will be taught by someone who truly understands the demands of the MYP/DP programs.

My goal as a tutor is to teach students how the IB MYP program approaches English Literature, so they are well prepared for their futures. Even if students aren't currently in the MYP, my lessons will introduce new English concepts that will be very useful later on.
What sets myself apart from other tutors are that I have first hand experience on how the MYP programme works when it comes to English literature, so I can provide all the necessary realistic tips for you as well as teaching exactly what to learn and study in class. My experience within the IBDP and MYP programs, having studied under their framework, helps ensure students receive targeted guidance that authentically reflects how these courses are structured and assessed as the IB is quite new compared to the other programmes.
An example of my teaching style is guiding students through a poetic analysis, exploring literary devices, themes and language, and writing an analytical essay on the poem
Finally, my lessons are for 10-14 year olds.
I will make sure to provide all the necessary help for all students to achieve the highest grades.
