My classes with structure and flexibility, depending upon the needs of the students. For high school or junior high school students, I follow Alberta Education's curriculum as much as possible. I like teacher / student(s) discussion. I assign and review homework.
My teaching methodology is basically learning in the way best for the student. Using analogies, metaphors or any other way so that the material makes sense to that individual student. I would prefer to teach high school children but other ages can work out as well. It's all gonna be the same subject so I will try my best.
My first aim is to make learning and analyzing English more approachable and enjoyable. Reading and criticizing texts doesn't have to be painful! Tutoring-wise, I base my instructions on my students' own learning needs and strengths, focusing on helping them reach their goals.
I approach my tutoring with flexibility, openness, and organization. I am focused on the student's needs and improvement through the use of their class materials, my own experience, and previous tutoring experience. Tutoring sessions in English are directed towards elementary, middle and high school students, sociology focuses on a high school level.
I adapt my methodology to whatever suits my student. Students are not the same and should not be treated as such by their tutor. I can teach all levels from high school to post graduate.
The session is two hours long, once or twice a week. Readings are done by the student prior to meeting. We go over the meaning of the readings and prepare the outline of an essay, or cover what the student needs to know for an exam.
I follow inclusive teaching practices and believe all students should be given fair opportunities based on their needs. I've minored in Inclusive Education, so I try to bring those skills to all the classes I teach. I prefer to get to know students and base my lessons and instructional strategies around my findings.
Central to my teaching philosophy is inspiring students to question assumptions, information, and experiences in an academic fashion. When students employ these practices it illuminates the curriculum. They will learn to become their own master teachers and take ownership of the work.
As a philosophy teacher, the following pedagogical principles guide my teaching: I put emphasis on the transferable skills of writing and analytical reasoning that are gained from studying philosophy; 2) prepare students for upper year philosophy courses and mentor them to achieve higher success as they move forward both in their education and also career, 3.
Je crois que chaque individu est unique et apprend de façon différente. J'adapte donc mes cours selon les préférences de l'étudiant et ce qui fonctionne le mieux pour lui, par exemple s'il est plus visuel qu'auditif ou encore s'il est plus du genre logique ou instinctif. J'aime beaucoup mettre en pratique ce que l'on apprend et insère donc beaucoup de rédaction de texte.
I am a Concurrent Education student at Brock University, with teachable subjects in English and History, at the grade 7-12 level. My teaching methodology is based in understanding of key concepts, rather than simply memorizing content. I believe that thorough understanding of how themes and ideas connect throughout courses helps students remember more content and facilitates genuine learning.
My methodology of educating depends on the particular needs and goals of the student. There is no one size fits all solution in education and it is important to cater to the students specific needs if we want success.
My sessions focus on helping high school students improve their academic writing abilities. Sessions are meant to prepare the student for university academic writing, and if applicable, their IB English exams and projects. I am patient, and have ample experience tutoring in a variety of subjects. I am always happy to share my own notes and resources.

My teaching methods are typically individualistic. Even if I am teaching a group, I will go through each and everyone's main concerns and issues. Everyone is here to learn and get better, and my aim is to do just that.
Laughter is the best teacher. Focus is on person-to-person conversations with emphasis on listening and connections through imagination and discussions about current events and whatever the student and I want to talk about. Sounds and listening are the keys.
My classes are meant for beginners from Grade 1 to 6 and Grade 7 to 12. Techniques and teaching methods for these two categories of students are different. For the first category creative teaching methods are used. For the second one interactive techniques are used.
Les cours sont organisés soit en fonction du niveau de l'étudiant, soit en fonction de ses requêtes, si le besoin est précis et ponctuel. La durée du cours est de 1h minimum. Les cours sont ouverts aux élèves de l'école secondaire et aux étudiants à l'université.
My teaching method is simple enough, I always start from the basics and make sure that there are no doubts as far as the basics are concerned. I make my students feel loved and make sure they don't hesitate while questioning or answering any questions. All my students have scored above A in all subjects.
We go over assigned readings once or twice per week, for two hours. During this time we discuss the readings, practice writing, and gain the ability to think critically about the subject matter. At the end of the tutoring sessions the student should be able to read and write upon the subject matter with relative ease.
I begin by getting to know what my student's struggle with and trying to improve those areas, whether they be grammar, organization, or understanding difficult concepts and theories. A typical class is oriented around a reading/text/assignment that a student is working with, and we will spend time either writing, reading, or discussing the content together.
I tailor my lesson plans to the wants and needs of the student. My goal is to foster a love of learning in students by helping gain the skill sets and confidence to conquer any challenges presented to them. Not only can I supplement course material, but I can also offer prepare enrichment content if requested.
This would be my first venture into the field of tutoring.
My teaching methods include: - Analysing and understanding Job postings and descriptions - Expanding vocabulary for resume and cover letters - Creating appropriate and personalized resumes and cover letters My aim is to equip students with the necessary skills to gain confidence and independence.
The way I teach involves reading targeted articles and summarizing them followed by some examples of effective and ineffective resume writing and analyzing them. Finally, some application of the lessons learned to your industry while you are writing your resume. I offer a free first lesson which is a 15 minute consult with my own resume and experiences.
I have wanted to be a teacher from the moment that I entered junior kindergarten at 3 ½ years old; the well-used chalkboard hanging on the wall of my childhood bedroom will attest to that. From the moment I was old enough to, I volunteered myself for as many opportunities to work with children as I could.
My teaching methods are determined by student’s learner type.
Former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS LSH), former pupil of the Lycee Henri IV and Lycée Fénelon (hypokhâgne-khâgne), currently in the final year of doctoral studies, I propose courses from college in humanities (French, history and geography, philosophy).
I propose to help you in the preparation of academic papers, completion of course work, monographs, dissertations and theses. I can help you from the early stages, theme choice, cut hypothesis formulation and object definition, to completion, with final formatting and textual revision.
Graduate French professor (BAC+6) gives private lessons to children and adults wishing to learn or improve their French. My lessons are personalized in accordance with specific needs of each learner and objectives set. My method is not academic, centered on the specificities of each learner, and has achieved very good results.
