I feel like there is a difference in both format and expectations of math courses in high school compared to college. Having taken a few college math courses, I understand that it may be difficult for students to keep up with the fast-paced nature of the quarter system and the heavy test-favored grading scheme. I think that with my experience in tutoring mathematics, I can effectively clarify conceptual doubts that could be critical to students' learning and guide them towards a solution. I can provide similar questions which would emphasize the content covered in class that week and allow students to stay on track and not fall behind.
