About Joe
I’ve always had a passion for helping others. I worked at a school for over a year, supporting lessons and learning the best ways to help educate. This was also an SEN school so I have experience with different levels of access needs.
During my time in high school and sixth form I joined multiple mentoring programs and student leader positions as well as being Head prefect in year 11 and then later head boy in sixth form.
I also ran a drama group during my time in sixth form students lower down in the school to give them access to experience with theatre and the arts outside of the classroom and help them explore their own creativity.
As an aspiring actor and creative I’m passionate about creating an honest and collaborative workspace of support, and fostering peoples talent to make sure they achieve their full potential.
Personally, I’ve always been a hard worker and I believe that is the trick to achieve the best you can. I put a lot of time into my studies in year 12 and 13. I came out with a brilliant set of results (two a stars in drama and English language, and an a in politics) thanks to a lot of revision and practice and I want to use what I’ve learnt to help you if I can.

I want to foster a positive and focused work within and help people push that but further to help them excel and gain the best possible outcomes for their goals.
I achieved 2 A*s and an A in a levels (A* in English language and drama, A in politics).
I love to work with practical real world examples that contextualise study and develop critical thinking. I like look at structuring answers and the details of questions as much as answering them as I belobe both are equally important. Knowledge is nothing without a good vehicle to communicate it.
I have experience working with younger children (9-15) as well as young adults (15-18) in educational settings having helped mentor and facilitate at my former sixth form, as well as in a high school where i worked (SEN)
Ideally lessons can be from 30-60 minutes but if you need other arrangements I’m sure we can figure it out.
