About Cheuk Wan

I have just graduated from Oxford International College, which has ranked the second best A level school among all UK boarding schools. ((concealed information) As for me, I have achieved an A* in Maths on 2022, and A* in Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry this summer.
Besides A levels, I have got a distinction for the Advanced Extension Award in mathematics,. The AEA paper in Mathematics is set by the Edexcel examination board on behalf of all the A-level examination boards. It contains harder questions than those in the A level mathematics examination. I have also won several competitions, such as a gold award in the 2021 and 2022 UKMT, Merit in Andrew Jobbings senior kangaroo, Gold Certificate in the British Physics Olympiad Senior Challenge and a silver award in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

About the lesson

Few years ago, I volunteered to become an academic mentor at Polydemia, a charity organised by our college. It aims to provide free tutoring services to underprivileged students from GCSE. During the academic year, I have taught several students, and they eventually got decent results on their final exams.
I normally using PowerPoints and note taking apps such as notability so that students could get a complete overview and understanding on these topics. I would also distribute home assignments to monitor student’s learning progress and adjust my pace of teaching according to their results.
