About Joel
My name is Joel and I am 20 years old, so not too long ago I was in a very similar position to a lot of the students I teach doing my GCSEs and A-levels. The reason I want to teach is because I personally found some of the exams very stressful and difficult to understand and I wish I had someone there to help through the weaker points of my studies and offer a different way to look at the material. Also, I really enjoy creating lessons that are fun yet educational as this is something that I think schools don’t do enough, including games and competitions to aid learning.

My approach to tutoring centres around the student, it is very adaptable depending on the student's level, and how best they learn. After studying psychology for 6 years now, I have a strong grasp on how students can differ in learning styles and I can alter my sessions to account for this. Using these methods, I have helped many students in the past to achieve their target grades across a variety of subjects.
