About Aleesha
I am a student in my 4th year at University. As a student I know how difficult it can be to grasp new topics, I have many years of experience experimenting with different techniques that have helped my in my learning and am keen to also share my knowledge of this and help others. I am also going into a career that values lifelong learning and my job will also involve teaching trainees.
In my spare time I love to read and spend time watching movies. I am all about trying new things so I love doing activities with my friends and family.

I teach using the whiteboard function giving examples and techniques on how to answer maths and science questions and then give students time to answer questions themselves and then finally go through their responses together and discuss any improvements. I will make the lessons very interactive and do short quizzes to see how much they have learnt every week/ 2 weeks. Typically a lesson will last an hour but can be extended if needed. I have experience tutoring students of many ages and abilities, I started volunteering as a tutor in high school and have worked as a mentor for first year students at my university for the past two years. I can tutor children of GCSE and primary school level.
