About Angelina

I started dancing when I was 3 years old, then became a competitive gymnast until I got injured and decided to go back to dance. I was on a competition dance team at my dance studio while in high school while also on the competitive song/pom (dance) team and was captain my senior year. In college, I pursued a minor in dance and took classes with the major level dance students. Also while in college, I was an assistant coach for the high school song/pom team. I choreographed many dances while also led many practices. Along with that, I have offered private dance lessons and have been doing that for 5 years. Dance is my passion and creative outlet and desire to forever keep dance in my life.

About the lesson

Dance is a form of creativity, expression, and exercise. I normally ask the student what they want to focus on, like preparing for a dance team audition, practicing a certain skill, extra private training for a specific genre, etc. I also offer for couples getting married help choreographing and working on their first dance. Message me for specifics if you are interested in first dance lessons! For regular privates, I like to start with a warm-up, work on technique, teach a short combo, then work to perform the routine. I provide immediate feedback to the dancer to help improve his/her skills and confidence. These lessons are for beginners to advanced level dancers. As a dance coach, I will always work with positive reinforcement and help you get to the level/confidence you desire to be at!
