About Lilly

Lilly is a graduate of Nazareth University, graduating with her B.S. in Dance Studies and a Bachelor's of Social Work in 2025, then continuing her education working towards her MSW at the same institution. She grew up as a competitive dancer in Vermont, expanding her passion for the performing arts through her work in theater. Through her collegiate career Lilly has been selected to perform in ensemble works by several artists including Heather Roffe, Cat D. Olson, Heather Acomb, Francesca Genovese, Mayhem Dance, Gallim Dance, and was able to explore performance in the immersive dance theater world in the 2022 performance of “Dark Dark Room” directed by Cat D. Olson. In 2024 she traveled with Heather Roffe to Italy to enrich her exploration in contact improv and contemporary technique, ending the experience in a site-specific performance in the historic city of Arezzo. She also performed in the Rochester Fringe Festival in 2023. Teaching and choreographing is where Lilly’s aspirations for her future lie. She began assistant teaching at the age of 11 and opened a non-profit dance program when she was 14, her choreographic works have been seen in seven original productions, award-winning competitive pieces as well as several works at Nazareth University including the 2022 Nazareth Spring Dance Concert. Her piece “Break the Silence” was selected to be performed, and recognized nationally in the final round of works featured live in Nacre Dance’s 2023 “So You Think You Can Choreograph”. This was the first of her works that sparked her passion for advocacy and capturing the female experience through dance. Continuing exploration in choreographic work as she pursues the task of finding herself is where her future in the arts will persist.

About the lesson

Whether it’s improving on technique, getting feedback for a competitive routine, choreography for an audition, helping you get out of your own head, or anything else to help you feel confident in your talent, I’d love to connect! Dance is about more than how you look on a stage, it’s a somatic experience that should make you feel good, with my degree in Dance Studies and Social Work I have a unique lens on mental well-being while improving as a dancer and am passionate about giving young dancers an opportunity to view themselves as worthy and strong!
