About Aiden
I am a rising Sophomore at the University of Vermont as a double major, pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor's of Arts in Theater with a minor in Chinese Language, qualifying for Dean's List honors in both semesters so far. In High School, I qualified for Head of School Honors at the Pomfret School, and received a 4 on the AP Chemistry exam and a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam. I have extensive tutoring experience as well as experience with public speaking and communication, and I pride myself on being effective in my communication in and outside of the classroom. I have been an independent contract tutor for over a year, and also run study circles for some classes at UVM.

I am a firm believer in Stephen Krashen's SLA Theory, and that the best way to succeed academically is through conceptual understanding in tandem with practical application and practice.
A typical lesson can comprise of:
- Review assigned work
- Begin learning new topics
- Attempt & review practice problems
- Create effective study plans for upcoming exams
If notified in advance (1-2 days) on the topic of the tutoring session, I am happy to create a specific lesson plan or curate practice problems on the topic of the session!

Aiden is incredibly knowledgeable and very articulate! His expertise makes him a great teacher for any level. I met Aiden through college a cappella- he is always enthusiastic and really enjoys helping others.
Aiden and I sat next to each other in organic chemistry our freshman year of college. Not only was he super personable right off the bat, but he kept me laughing in a class that proved itself quite difficult and stressful. More than being a comedic genius and emphatically kind person, Aiden was the first person I would turn to for assistance in the class. He is absolutely brilliant and knows how to express himself in a variety of ways, easily re-explaining concepts if they didn't land the first time. He is talented and smart in a variety of subjects; there is no one I would more highly recommend.
I know Aiden through UVM’s competitive a cappella group, Viridescent. Since the first day he joined the group, he showed not only an extensive knowledge of performance, musical arranging, and music theory, but also a great passion for the arts as well. He balances his devotion to musical theater with a cappella really well, too, communicating any conflicts that may arise and going above and beyond outside of rehearsals to ensure he is equally committed to both. Aiden is very easy to talk to and has a contagious laugh and sense of humor. This translates well to his ability to teach his arrangements, give constructive feedback, and be an overall productive and valuable member of Viridescent. I am soon to be president of Viridescent, and I feel very lucky to continue to have him in the group, as he is always ready to be a helping hand. A fond memory I have of Aiden is when I truly understood how impressive his arrangement abilities are. He arranged one of our graduated senior’s final song and taught it to the whole group when Aiden was still freshman. We then chose his arrangement/song to record and it will be released on Spotify this coming year. I recommend Aiden to the other Superprof members because, aside from his talent, he is hard-working, communicative, and a true joy to work with. Anyone would be extremely lucky to have Aiden on their team, and he has a bright future ahead of him!
I have had the privilege of singing with Aiden in our competitive a cappella group. Aiden is so gifted and truly knows everything there is to know about music. He is very supportive and answers any and all questions to make sure that you are entirely sure about what is needed with any piece of music.
