About Emilie

I am a French teacher who comes from Belgium. I graduated in 2014 and completed a master's degree in the field of Educational Science (Adult training). I worked a year in a non-profit organization as a homework school coordinator and as a French teacher before coming to Australia. My job allowed me to provide both collective and individual lessons for high school students or even professionals.

About the lesson

My teaching method is interactive. The lessons are centered around the student. Indeed, (s)he is led to develop his (her) own skills and knowledge. I'm the kind of teacher who thinks it's easier to understand and learn from finding solutions for yourself. Of course, my role as a teacher is to accompany and help the student in this process. I will make sure that (s)he goes in the right direction and properly guide him (her) towards correct and quality learning.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

David is a hardworking student who takes his lessons seriously. Always in a good mood, he is comfortable speaking French. According to me, this is the greatest of his qualities. He dares to speak even if he makes some mistakes. Thanks to this skill, he progresses from session to session and he is on his way to achieving his objectives. Congratulations David.

Perfect! Emilie is an amazing teacher. She's always prepared ahead of the lesson and tailors each lesson for me specifically. I've already learnt so much, which is a credit to her easy to understand teaching style, her patience and her organisation. I'm always excited for lessons, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn French.

Sarah is a nice and diligent student. She takes her lessons seriously and does everything possible to improve. Her French is already better after only a few lessons.
