About Thun Yatti

Hi! I’m Thun Yatti Myo also known as Tr Thun, an experienced IGCSE Science tutor with excellent results in Science and Maths (Biology 7, Chemistry 7, Physics 6, Maths 8) and IELTS 7.5 and have over 1 year of teaching experience. I have completed my IGCSEs and am currently pursuing a Life Science Foundation programme, preparing for undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science.

I specialise in Biology, Chemistry and Physics for KS3, GCSE, and IGCSE students, and I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly, practise effectively, and improve their exam performance. My lessons include structured revision notes, past papers, monthly assessments, and personalised feedback, tailored to each student’s learning style.

I am passionate about teaching and science, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve excellent results. I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, and dedicated, making lessons engaging and productive.

About the lesson

I am an experienced tutor with over 1 year of teaching experience, supporting students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my IGCSEs and am currently pursuing a Life Science Foundation programme, preparing for undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science. I have successfully guided students using structured theory notes, past papers, and monthly assessments to help them improve understanding, track progress, and gain confidence in exams.

I start by breaking down difficult topics into clear, easy-to-understand theory, supported by my own concise revision notes. Students then practise extensively using exam past papers and exam-style questions, so they become familiar with real exam formats and marking schemes. To track progress, I conduct regular monthly assessments, allowing me to identify gaps in understanding early.

After each assessment, I provide detailed and personalised feedback, highlighting strengths and focusing on areas that need improvement.

My lessons are suitable for:

KS3 Science (Years 7–9) students
GCSE / IGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics students

My goal is not only to help students score better, but also to develop strong scientific thinking and long-term understanding.
