About Norah
I’m a dedicated piano tutor with 2 years of teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance. My passion lies in helping students reach the level required for advanced jazz programmes at conservatories such as Berklee, Juilliard, and other leading institutions.
My lessons combine technical development with creative exploration. Students learn jazz harmony, chord voicings, improvisation techniques, and rhythmic phrasing. These skills help build a strong and expressive jazz foundation.
We also study repertoire and explore how great jazz pianists develop their musical ideas. Improvisation becomes a key part of every lesson. It allows students to discover their own artistic voice.
My goal is to unlock each student’s creative and technical potential for advanced jazz performance. Lessons are focused, motivating, and musically challenging. Let’s explore the depth and freedom of jazz piano together.

My teaching method focuses on helping students experience the richness of classical piano music. I believe that technique, understanding, and expression must work together. Lessons combine careful technical training with deep musical exploration.
We study classical repertoire while learning about musical forms such as sonata form and variation form. Understanding structure helps students interpret pieces more clearly. It gives direction to their performance.
Students also learn about the historical background of composers and their musical traditions. These insights help them connect emotionally with the music they play.
Expressive interpretation is always encouraged. Students learn how to shape phrases, control dynamics, and communicate feeling through the piano. Some learners also discover that piano practice offers calm focus and emotional balance. My goal is to guide students towards refined and meaningful performances. Together we bring classical piano works to life with artistry and understanding.
