About Jacklyn
I started playing piano as a secondary focus alongside my voice training. My degree from Boston Conservatory at Berklee taught me that vocalists who learn piano gain a deeper sense of phrasing.
I specialize in sight playing, classical repertoire, and pedaling technique for my 160 students. We also cover music theory, scales and arpeggios, memorization techniques, and chord voicing. These skills build the foundation for any serious musician seeking a 9.0 level of performance.

You sit at the bench for our first meeting. We start by assessing your technical comfort. You learn how to shape phrases like a vocalist. I bring my Sondheim obsession to every single minute.
We use my 13 years of experience to solve your toughest passages. You master chord voicing quickly.
We polish your sight playing skills. You refine your scales and arpeggios. You memorize pieces effectively. I am happy to help you find the music within the keys.
