About Ralph

Ralph Nader is a dynamic percussionist from Brooklyn, NY, whose passion for rhythm and entertainment has taken him from local marching bands to international stages. Ralph began his performing career with the Jackie Robinson Center “Steppers” Marching Band, where his love for drumming and engaging crowds first took root. A natural entertainer, Ralph has showcased his talents at celebrity events, professional sports games, and major stadium performances. As a member of Black Fire Percussion, Ralph performed with the NY Knicks and NJ Nets Drumlines, captivating fans during time-outs and halftime shows. While studying at Hampton University, he was a proud member of the Marching Force Drumline. During the off-season, Ralph competed with the 18-time world champion Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps from Concord, CA, earning two World Championship gold medals and drum titles. After graduating, Ralph brought his creativity and drumming expertise to Disneyland, where he co-created iconic performances, including the Soundsational Parade, Festival of Holidays’ Toy Drummers, Tale of the Lion King, and the Food & Wine Festival’s Jammin’ Chefs. Ralph’s talents also extend to television and film, serving as a Percussion Coordinator for notable projects such as Netflix’s Homecoming: A Beyoncé Film, Amazon’s Candy Cane Lane starring Eddie Murphy, and Apple TV’s Severance directed by Ben Stiller. His inventive style and Disney experience opened doors to international opportunities, including European and South American tours with the acclaimed German reggae/pop band Seeed. Performing with Seeed inspired the creation of BYOS (Bring Your Own Style), a groundbreaking drumming duo that has become a social media phenomenon. Through BYOS, Ralph has collaborated and performed with industry giants such as Tony Royster Jr. (Jay-Z’s drummer), Allen Stone (R&B Soul artist), Travis Barker (Blink-182), and Beyoncé, including her legendary Coachella performance.
