About Manh

I am the Deputy Head of Maths at a thriving secondary school in Birmingham. I have been there for 5 years, and we have improved our GCSE results every year since then. I got an A* in GCSE maths and A in A-Level Maths. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, PGCE in Secondary Maths education, and a Master's Degree in Teaching Studies.

About the lesson

Every student is different, so every lesson has to be different too. With my experience, I can plan sessions that challenge students but also make them feel successful by the end, regardless of what level they are working at. All my lessons are interactive, so there is a lot of discussion and thinking out loud so that we can be sure of the contextual AND procedural knowledge.
