About Ava
My name is Ava, and I am a freshman at San Diego State and a recent graduate of the IB program. I have worked with kids in 6-8th grade before, in reading comprehension, writing, and math. I coach middle schoolers in tennis as well, so I have a lot of experience with kids in general. I excelled in both IB HL English and Literature and HL Global Politics, both courses requiring extensive essay writing. My main goal is to achieve student success, and I believe I have the experience and knowledge to do that.

I am excellent in helping with literary essays, creative writing, grammar, and anything in between. I am a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program, and will help the student interpret different texts, along with analyzing different techniques used, and guide them on how to weave it all into a cohesive essay.
