About Maheswar
I'm a senior in high school doing the IB diploma program, with a heavy course-load consisting of 4 higher level subjects (Math AA, Physics, Chemistry, and Psychology). My favorite, and also most challenging, subject is Math AA HL. I've tried various approaches to come to terms with the depth and diversity of the subject, and have arrived at a skill set that is transferable to lower level math as well. As I'm still in high school, I'm also updated and knowledgeable of question patterns and can assist with exam preparation.

I believe understanding math is the cornerstone to excelling in the subject. Hours of practice using patterns to solve problems works half the time, but I focus on teaching math concepts in depth so that problems can be solved based on understanding rather than memorization. This is the approach I've used in teaching math that's helped me get 7s in the IB diploma so far. A typical lesson will be around 1 hour, focusing on a particular subtopic or topic. I'll adapt to your child's learning style and use personalized techniques to explain concepts. My lessons are aimed at students preparing for their IGCSE, CBSE, or IB MYP board examinations in Y11/G10.
