About Louis
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 12+ years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple, engaging, and effective. My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and learning pace. I focus on building strong basics and gradually improving skills. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to help students become confident musicians. I also include song learning and practical exercises to make lessons interesting.
My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop good practice habits. I believe in creating a friendly and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.

My teaching methodology emphasises confidence-building, creative, and student-centred lessons. I believe piano education should inspire students to express themselves musically, develop technical skills, and enjoy the learning process. Through clear communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are motivating, personalised, and effective.
Creativity is a key part of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, helping them develop artistic expression and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering steady progress and a positive learning experience.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical mastery, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
