About Colin
I am a self-taught guitarist and drummer of five years (but my experience is rich!), I took piano lessons starting when I was six. I am an avid and broad music listener/player, I have applied my music knowledge and learned much from my professional experience as a theater actor/musician. From theater, I understand what it means to practice with precision, to rehearse with ease, and to perform with confidence, and I instill this work ethic into my students.

I focus on establishing a comfortable technique with the student, using repertoire that the student can find enjoyment in and benefit from, whether it be one of their favorite songs, or songs from genres they like/songs from genres they may not have listened to. I am a passionate, fun-first, and performance-oriented teacher who wishes to bring out the inner artist in all of my students. My lessons are for absolute beginners all the way to seasoned players who need that extra boost!
