About Gina
"I have 7 years of experience teaching guitar and preparing students for advanced musical opportunities. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in Guitar Performance, which has strengthened my knowledge of technique, performance, and creative development. I enjoy helping musicians discover their full potential in challenging professional environments.
I specialize in preparing students for auditions with professional touring bands, recording sessions, and advanced composition programs. My lessons focus on developing strong performance skills, creative thinking, and the confidence needed for high-pressure situations. I believe every student has unique abilities that can grow with the right guidance.
I have worked with guitarists who wanted to improve their stage presence, technical control, and artistic expression. One student preparing for a professional audition improved their confidence by building a focused practice routine and performing regular mock sessions. Seeing students reach important career goals is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

"My teaching approach focuses on helping guitarists become confident music readers who can adapt to any playing situation. Lessons include reading tablature, standard notation, sight reading exercises, rhythm notation, and understanding musical symbols. I use a clear and structured method to build strong reading skills step by step.
I help students connect what they see on the page with what they play on the guitar. For example, we practice short sight reading exercises regularly so students can improve their speed and accuracy without feeling overwhelmed. This approach helps musicians feel prepared when learning new pieces or joining new musical projects.
I also teach rhythm patterns, timing, and reading skills that support different styles of guitar playing. Students learn how written music works in real situations, from personal practice to rehearsals and performances. Each lesson is adjusted to match the student's goals and current ability.
My goal is to help guitarists develop complete reading skills and approach written music with confidence. I support students in building accuracy, musical understanding, and independence as players. Together, we can unlock the world of written music and help you become a fluent music reader."
