The way I teach is I start from the very start and build up. Then I take you through various different style questions and show you how to approach and tackle them. I've tried to cover all possible styles of questions, aiming to minimize any surprises for when you do questions by yourself. So say after we finish the acids and bases chapter, you should be able to open any old chem book or site and answer pretty much all the acid base q. So summary: I teach theory on a topic, show you how to approach qs, then you try them on your own.
