About Tyler
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa although I have grew up moving around Africa. I am a highly motivated musician with a comprehensive background in performance. More than 11 years as a drummer with 5 of those years performing and recording professionally for original acts both here in the UK and in South Africa. I do have teaching experience as I was a tutor for a music program called “Music Teachers” back in Cape Town. I am also currently working as a drum tutor for an after school program called The Rock Project where we teach kids, teens, and adults in a group setting how to learn songs, read music, and play in a band. I am Fully DBS certified.

While balancing Drum theory and practical application I teach using personal goal based approach so you can hear, see, and watch as your skills grow while learning to play along to all the music you already love listening too. I tech between absolute beginner up to grade 8 standard of drumming age 7+.
